So, just got this blog going. I figure I'll introduce myself.

My name is Jordan Norbury, although I go by mrjordak. Why, you ask? Well, that's a very good question, with a extremely boring and nerdy answer.

I was playing Pokemon (Yeah, I play Pokemon! @_@) and I meant to type Jordan as my name, but somehow put a 'k' instead of an 'n'. So there's Jordak. The lower case 'j' was just randomly changed, and the 'mr' comes from when I set up my YouTube account, and 'jordak' was taken. They recommended 'mrjordak', and I found that hilarious. And that's the boring story of how I got my alias.

Anyway, this blog will basically just be me, showing off music I create (primarily 8-bit and MIDI) and talking about other video game composers I enjoy listening to. I'll also talk about any video game projects I get the chance to work on. For instance, my first project, a freeware game by the incredibly talented 8 Bit City:

It's called Mutant Warzone, and although it's not finished yet you can download a Beta. It's great fun. Just to let you know, there have been some problems getting the soundtrack into it, but hopefully that'll be fixed. If not, the soundtrack will still come with the game :)

So yeah, check that out, and I'll post again soon: http://8bitcity.blogspot.com/2011/02/mutant-warzone.html
